So, I have had this idea for an occasional feature at GDU, called Talk Amongst Yourselves. I will provide the skeletal outlines for a virtual classroom discussion, and then invite comment. Of course, we will need commenters. So, please share your thoughts, and invite others that you think might be interested, or interesting, or both. Here is the first shot at TAY.
D&C 88:118: Faith is learned or acquired. And it is a tool to gain knowledge.
Alma 32:27: Faith is a choice.
Moroni 10:8-11: Faith is a gift from God.

hey--I love the blog and will comment on topic shortly. I just wanted to let you know that when I bring up your blog the actual address is not gospel doctrine underground but GOSEPL doctrine underground. Was the typo intentional? If not, I just wanted to let you know so you could fix it!! Thanks for your efforts!

ReplyDeleteI am aware of the misspelling in the URL. I have debated changing it, but am afraid I will lose the Google filing of all my older material. So, I decided to stick with the crazy misspelling, hoping that people will either google "Gospel Doctrine Underground," or will use bookmarks that will help them find me.
Thanks for pointing out the problem.
PS: I would love to hear your thoughts on this post or any others.
